Your Share Capital contribution earns dividends from the surplus profits of the cooperative at a year-end in proportion to the amount of contribution. Meanwhile, one of the privileges of a member who borrows from the cooperative fund is receiving a Patronage Refund. You’re entitled to a refundable rebate equivalent to a percentage of the total interest paid for your loan in a calendar year.
